Selecting The Best Mini Aquarium Filter For Your Betta

As a betta owner, one thing I noticed was how difficult it was to find a great filter for a small tank.

This is a big problem because in my opinion, a betta tank should always have a way to filter the water, no matter how small the tank is.

However, I would recommend never keeping a betta in anything smaller than a 2.5-gallon tank.

I was surprised how little information there is online about mini filters for small tanks.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to provide some information to help out new betta owners, experienced betta owners and anyone who may be keeping any type of fish in a small or nano-sized aquarium.

A quick summary of why I like the Rio Mini 90 Internal Power Filter is that:

Small design Internal filter, takes up a little space inside the tank.
Adjustable output, multiple water discharge options, and customization possible
Various adapters included, to adjust direction of the water output.
Choice of different filter media.
Add different medias (sold separately) as long as you have nylon media bags (sold separately)
